Obama: I’ll Shut Down Government & Suspend Military Pay

Rather than accept a few billion in budget cuts (read rounding error), President Obama has signaled his willingness to shut down the federal government. (Yah!) For those keeping score at home, any government shutdown that happens is on Obama?s plate. He is the President. All on him.

The worst part of this whole debate is the Obama Administration?s decision to hold military pay hostage to the budget debate. For the last few decades, government shutdowns have been guided by an OMB directive issued during the Reagan Administration. Under this directive, military personnel would continue to receive the paychecks while politicians argued about the budget. The Clinton Administration, during the last government shutdown, kept the paychecks flowing.

But, not Obama.

The Obama Administration has overturned the old OMB directive and has decided to suspend military paychecks if there is a government shutdown. No reason to do it?but they have decided to. Reprehensible.

[This Government has spent itself right to the brink of collapse.? Nobody in Congress has a solution, least of all the gang of leftist Keynesians who brought all this trouble upon us.

If this is not a sure sign of the coming collapse, then WHAT? IS?]

What is really irritating is the deal made was to continue funding Planned parenthood. The way I see it, this is NOT a government entity and should never have been part of the negotiations.
If there are to be taxpayer funds spent on non government organizations, let them set up a line item for block grants. When that money is gone, too bad.
Planned Parenthood is a misnomer anyway. It should be renamed Planned Parental Abrogation. It seems most of their “planning” is not aimed at birth control, but eliminating the problem “after” the mistake has been made.
There are many organizations that are more qualified to receive federal grants that exist for the betterment of the population. That simply is not the case with PP.

  The entire subject of abortion is not resolvable at this time, and perhaps never.
  
  But one thing is clear to me; the choices belong to the mom or two the parents, not to any Government, and no money should ever be stolen from the taxpayers to support P.P. or thousands of other agendas.

No redistribution of taxpayer force contributions should be used for support of anything, and that includes PP and all other private entities.

True moral principles cannot be legislated.

Article II Section 1 Clause 1: ?The executive Power shall be vested in a President of the United States of America. He shall hold his Office during the Term of four Years, and, together with the Vice President, chosen for the same Term, be elected, as follows?? The Constitution of September 17, 1787 then goes on to describe how the President of the United States of America will be elected by the Electors appointed by the States. After that election, those votes will be counted before the entire Congress. ?The Person having the greatest Number of Votes shall be the President, if such Number be a Majority the whole Number of Electors appointed.?

The Constitution couldn?t be clearer, however, the average reader will have difficulty finding in the Internet a declarative sentence that states Barack Hussein Obama is the President of the United States of America.

Government, the media and public education fear the dissemination of what is obvious to my Students: the Office of President of the United States of America is an Office under the authority of the federal Constitution, the Constitution of September 17, 1787 and the Office of President of the United States is an employment subject to the executive power of the President of the United States of America.

The Constitution of September 17, 1787 vests the executive power in a President of the United States of America. That same Constitution vests the legislative power in a Congress of the United States and then imposes administrative and legislative duties on a President of the United States.

This Constitution has very cleverly merged the Office of President of the United States and Office of President of the United States of America into one person and the qualifications of a perennially vacant Office of President on both those Offices.

  There is a whole lot both good and wrong with this Constitution, now rendered largely irrelevant by the powers that be or claim to be. It needs to be fixed, and this will become a part of our task here at No-Ruler.
